Margaret Wright was raised in Charleston, South Carolina.  She received a xxxx from Converse College in Spartanburg, South Carolina.  She and Jerry met while Jerry was stationed in Charleston while serving in the Navy.  After Margaret and Jerry were married they moved to Houston, Texas where Jerry was a police officer with the Houston Police Department.  Margaret has taught music in public schools in Houston and Kennard where they currently live.  They have two sons, Hollis and Lloyd.  Lloyd is married to the former April Bruce of Kennard.  Hollis, Lloyd and April also live in Kennard.

Margaret has taught at several festivals.

Jerry and Margaret organized and started the Palestine Old Time Music and Dulcimer Festival in Palestine, Texas.

Margaret created the TTSB series.
